Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 with Helio A22 is now official in the Philippines
Huawei has just introduced an entry-level smartphone in the Philippines to compete with other affordable smartphones such as the Realme C1 and the Xiaomi Redmi Go. The new device is called Y6 Pro and has Helio A22 chipset with quad-core CPU. There is one camera on the back, a 6.1 HD+ display on the front and no fingerprint scanner whatsoever.
The processor reaches 2 GHz speeds and is coupled with the PowerVR Rogue GE8300 GPU. The MediaTek chip has 3 GB RAM to keep it company, while storage is 32 GB. Huawei put a microSD slot that should have max capacity of 512 GB.
The camera on the back is 13 MP with an f/1.8 lens, while the selfie shooter is a basic 8 MP snapper with fixed focus and some beautification modes. Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 comes out of the box with EMUI 9.0, based on Android Pie. Battery is 3,020 mAh and is charged through a micro USB port on the bottom.
Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 comes in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colors. In order to compete with other low-priced smartphones, it carries a price tag of PHP6,990, which translates to around $135 or 120. Pre-orders start from February 18 and you can get free speakers, earphones or Lazada vouchers, but if you want to wait for the actual market launch, the date is February 23.
