Week 6 in review: Samsung Galaxy S10 leaks everywhere

Another week over and the Galaxy S10 topic has taken over our newsfeed.

Leaks and rumors have been building for some time now and this week they hit their peak. Gradually we unearthed press renders of the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10e (including the exclusive Canary Yellow color), photos in the wild of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and S10+ dummies photographed in the wild and more.

What more - well we already knew the prices of the Galaxy S10 family but this week we confirmed that they'll start their pre-orders on the same day as their unveiling - February 20 - and will likely begin shipping on March 8.

We also learned that the trio of Galaxy S10 phones will gain a new 10MP selfie camera that's said to have optical stabilization and even 4K video. It's also said that the Galaxy S10+ will have a 4,100mAh battery with reverse wireless charging (which will be used to top up Samsung's new Galaxy Buds).

In related news we saw the first renders of the first folding phone by Samsung - the Galaxy F. It looks like something straight out of the future.

Speaking of renders we also saw a crisp press render of the penta-cam Nokia 9 PureView, which should also be unveiled somewhere around MWC.

And speaking of renders even further we saw the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro through a number of leaked press renders.

There also was a purported render of the 21:9 Sony Xperia XA - it looks weirdly thin and long, and don't even get us started on that abnormally huge top bezel - what is Sony thinking there?

The rest of the topics this week were more subdued. The Realme C1 (2019) quickly sold out in its second flash sale, and Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 712 chipset.

As a special global event, Motorola also unveiled its Moto G7 family of G7, G7 Plus, G7 Power and G7 Play.

After such a packed week we're a bit overexcited about what next week might hold. See you there!

Olixar cases we saw a couple of months ago do indicate that there will be two rows of camera hardware, but not like this.

The new chipset is a lot similar to the Snapdragon 710, but the processor now reaches 2.3 GHz speeds.
