nubia reveals 8 features of the upcoming nubia X smartphone ahead of launch

Earlier this month, ZTE's sub-brand, nubia, announced the release date of its next flagship - the dual-screen nubia X and it's now teasing the handset with a list of cool features.

The list comes in the form of an infographic and since it's shared on the Chinese social media Weibo, we had to work it out with Google Translate. Unfortunately, the explanation of some of the features remains somewhat vague, likely due to inaccurate translation.

Almost 100% screen-to-body ratio without a notch and front-facing camera Eye-protecting screen mode. AI-driven theme selector for the back panel of the device - probably depending on your location, weather, etc., the phone changes the "skin" on the secondary display. Flexible screen - according to rough Google translation, the handset will feature a flexible OLED panel, which allows it to be curved towards the sides. No notch, no front camera - the back one combined with the secondary screen will be able to take top-notch selfies. Gaming-ready hardware with a reference to PUBG Mobile WiFi charging technology - yep, this one sounds even more absurd than the "flexible OLED" feature. As far as we can tell from the translation, the handset will be able to charge wirelessly over WiFi. We wonder how that one works. Price tag - the last feature is all about pricing. The company says the price point would hover around CNY 10,000 ($1,440), which is a fairly steep pricing although, this is an anniversary smartphone we are talking about here. The company will celebrate 10 years of its inception on October 31.

Most of the features sound exciting and we can't wait to see what the company has been cooking all along.
