Asus Indonesia tweeted out an official teaser for the Zenfone Max Pro (M2), which is slightly misleading and tries to suggest that the phone has a triple camera, even though it doesnt. We saw as much in the leaked video review, but if thats not enough proof, heres this leaked image. It shows pretty clearly that the third element is a flash.

The second generation Pro will be unveiled on December 11 and the tweet makes a big deal about the battery (5,000mAh capacity). It also promises a gaming flavor with a hint of a more performant chipset. It even goes as far as using a #NextGenerationGaming hashtag, which is a bit much for a Snapdragon 660 (unless theres some GPU Turbo-like tech coming).

The notch has officially landed on Asus mid-range series, previously used in the premium Zenfone 5 duo. Interestingly, the 13MP f/2.0 front camera will be joined by an LED flash, which will help out in late night selfies.

As for the rear camera, it should switch to a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor (f/1.8) paired with a 5MP depth sensor. By the way, heres another video review of the phone:

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2) will be unveiled on December 11 with stock Android (but not Android One).
